We visited Nevada, Utah and Arizona last month. We combined an intense 48hrs in Las Vegas with a drive through Nevada and Utah to get to the fantastic hotel Amangiri, just on the border of Arizona. I did't have that much expectations to LV but we had a great time, seeing concerts, comedy gigs and eating some great food. Almost the only thing on my to do list was to visit the Neon Museum, also called the Neon Boneyard. It is a non-profit organisation, mainly relying to donations and fundraising to preserve these pieces of heritage from old LV and the early days of the Strip. They have more than 200 unrestored signs on displayed on the yard, and when illuminated at sunset it becomes quite magic.

If you're a fan of faded beauty like me, it is definitively worth a visit should you find yourselves in the area with an hour to spare.

Enjoy,
